A new introductory text aimed at veterinary students, nurses and new graduates has been published
Following the publication in recent years of more specialist manuals covering abdominal, musculoskeletal and thoracic imaging and ultrasonography, BSAVA goes back to basics with a new introductory text aimed at veterinary students, nurses and new graduates.
Confident radiographic interpretation presents a considerable challenge and the BSAVA Manual of Canine and Feline Radiography and Radiology provides a comprehensive review of the approach to radiological interpretation, the range of variants and the key fundamental principles and their application to common diseases.
The manual features high quality radiographic reproductions demonstrating normal anatomy and key aspects of interpretation, as well as illustrations showing patient positioning and the practical approach that is the hallmark of the BSAVA manuals.
Contents: Physics and equipment; Principles of radiography; Principles of radiological interpretation; Contrast radiography; Radiology of the thorax; Radiology of the abdomen; Radiology of the appendicular skeleton; Radiology of the head; Radiology of the vertebral column; Index. CD
An extra feature is a CD containing all the radiographic images from the manual, so that readers can view the many images at an enlarged size.
The manual is available from October and can be ordered from www.bsava.com.
